Courtney Yates, LMT, RYT 500, Pilates Instructor

Licensed Massage Therapist, Yoga Teacher, Pilates Instructor

Courtney Yates is a licensed massage therapist, certified in The Strenta Method of Medical Massage as well as an RYT500 yoga teacher and Pilates instructor.

Essentially a Human Body Mechanic, Courtney combines her knowledge, skill and experience across three modalities - therapeutic massage, yoga and Pilates to create a unique body maintenance therapy. This therapy uses hands on body work and therapeutic movement, linking the structure, function and pathology of an individual body to release soft tissue restrictions, increase body awareness and create a more comfortable physical state.

Courtney graduated from Suffolk University (Boston, MA/Dakar, Senegal) in 2003 and the Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences (New York, NY) in 2011. She has been privileged to teach along side top tier health educators as an apprentice teacher at Swedish Institute, and most notably as assistant to Janine Strenta, founder of The Strenta Method of Medical Massage.

Courtney competed on CBS's Survivor China in 2007 and Survivor Heroes vs Villains in 2010. Follow her on Twitter @courtneyhyates and Instagram @courtneyyates for events and updates.
