Diane Giammarino-Tedaldi, MS RDN, NYS Certified Nutritionist and Certified GAPS Practitioner graduated from New York University in 1998 with a Masters of Science in Clinical Nutrition. She completed her internship through NYU at NY Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn and has worked in hospital settings, doctor's offices and clinics throughout her 20 year career, treating premature babies to critical care patients.
Diane has experience working with all age groups and diagnoses from digestive disorders, cancer, diabetes, pregnancy, hormonal disorders, cardiac issues, autoimmune disorders, and many others, including general wellness and weight loss. Additionally, Diane has studied many different healing modalities including herbalism and energy medicine. Cooking classes at NYU and the Natural Gourmet were part of her training, so Diane is able to help you learn how to prepare food that is nourishing, satisfying and delicious. Overall, her comprehensive background enables her to provide an integrative approach to nutrition and health.
Diane believes that nutrition is a vital component in healing and achieving general well-being. She has learned that food affects every part of our health from the physical to the mind to the spirit--they cannot be separated. Each part of us needs to be nourished and loved through good, wholesome, and clean foods.
Diane is a member of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics as an Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist as well as a member of their Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine Group. She is certified by NY State as a Dietitian-Nutritionist and is a Certified GAPS Practitioner. She is also certified by as a Master/Teacher in Usui Reiki and is a member of the IARP. Diane has trained in herbalism, Acutonicstm tuning forks, certified in Axiatonal Light Grid energy work, is a Master/Teacher in New Paradigm MDT Healing, and is the past president of the Brooklyn Tri-State Dowsers.
